Delicate pawsteps dappled the forest floor. They were almost inaudible, except for those with especially trained ears. A slender she-cat wove her way through the last bit of marshed that marked the terratory she belonged to. Goldenpool stepped gingerly upon solid ground, how good it felt not to have mud beneath your paws! The deputy of NightClan opened her mouth so slightly, breathing in and allowing herself to take in all the scents of the forest, there was no AzureClan patrol here, they wouldn't be coming for a few hours or so. With a sweep of her tail, she sprang upon a giant bolder, thick with plants soaking up the sunlight.
The unusually spotted she-cat sunk down into the foliage, her dazzling violet eyes closing for a moment. As her bones thirstily drank in the sunlight that didn't frequent her home, Goldenpool felt a bit of unease sweep over her. This was where her dream had happened. It wasn't the fact that she actually remembered this dream, it was the flowery scent that hung across the stone itself. It was unframiliar in a way that it once was registered in Goldenpool's mind, but had faded away after moons of not inhaling the scent. The she cat bristled slightly and raised her body from the great stone, a sudden chill sinking into her heart. The last time she had smelt that smell was shortly after she had become a warrior. The scent was stolen from her memory just after her sister ran from the Clan.
Silverwing.
Had she returned? Goldenpool shook off the thought. The floral scent of her sister could have been confused with some herb. Or was it really the scent of a rogue she caught, a traitor of the clans? The slender golden bengal she-cat narrowed her voilet optics slowly. There was no mistaking that her sister had returned, and what sort of insanity had concocted into Silverwing's mind would surely lead to a messy downfall. That was predictable. Goldenpool flattened her ears to her head in annoyance, if the silver version of herself had truely returned, then she ought to tell Blackstar about it. That could wait though, for there weren't any scents along with Silverwing's, it was lone, and a tad bit on the fresh side. Could that mean the silver vixen wasn't far? Goldenpool shook her lovely head as if to clear it, she wasn't going to worry about her troubled sister just yet.
